Skills for Life

7th Warrington Scout Group welcomes all young people from ages 5 to 14. We offer a huge range of experiences with lots of opportunities to push yourself outside your comfort zone.

Welcome to 7th Warrington West Scout Group

Our Group

You can find our Headquarters off Dorchester Road, Hood Manor, Great Sankey.

We have so many exciting activities indoors or outdoors for children to get involved in with our Beaver, Cub or Scout section or with the group as a whole.

Our sections are busy and offer a wide range of experiences as our members grow and widen their knowledge of the world.

We hope to share our values of Integrity, Respect, Care, Belief and Cooperation with our young people and work hard to give them opportunities and experiences outside their normal life. They will gain confidence and make great friends, in fact some of our leaders have moved up through Beavers, Cubs and Scouts then into leadership roles.

Our Leaders

Our leaders are passionate about supporting the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and providing them with a huge range of opportunities. Volunteering in Scouting is a brilliant way to make a difference for young people in your community. Not only do you receive training and support, you become part of the wider Scouting Community with lots of opportunities to enrich your life and make great friends.

We are always happy to welcome new leaders, so if you are interested then please don’t hesitate to ask us for more information.

Our community

It is not just our young people who enjoy the benefits of being part of the 7th Warrington Scout Group. We welcome family and friends to join us through the year for social and fundraising events. From race nights and bingo to Parent and Child camps there are lots of opportunities to get involved and be part of our community.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
