What do our Beavers do?

The Beavers Colony is the start of your Scouting adventures at 7th Warrington West Scouts. Our leaders create a warm and friendly environment with lots of fun games and indoor crafts and science-based activities.
Beavers work towards achieving their Bronze Badge by completing activity badges and challenge badges.
They start to learn what it means to be a part of Scouting, our values and how to play a part in our community. For example, completing a first aid course gives them an introduction to personal safety and how to help others while the games and activities help them develop skills in teamwork.
We start to introduce the Beavers to how camps work with day trips so they see what fun the Cubs and Scouts are having. At Parent and Child camp we invite parents to bring their Beavers to their first camp under canvas, a great chance for them to build their confidence to camp in Cubs and Scouts.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
