Scouts

Who is our Scouts for?

7th Warrington Scouts are aged 10.5-14 and are open to all young people in the area.

Where do our Scouts meet?

We meet on Tuesdays 715-845pm at 7th Warrington HQ off Dorchester Road, Great Sankey.
Our Scout Troup leader is Tim Walker.

What do our Scouts do?

In Scouts you get to spread your wings and enjoy a little more freedom. The activities step up as you start to work towards your gold award by completing challenge and activity badges.
As a Scout in 7th Warrington, you will be offered a range of camping experiences throughout the year. We have our Winter Weekend which is a great camp for our less experienced campers and a favourite of many of our Scouts. Summer Camp is a week-long camp which offers the Scouts a great experience for both the leaders and the Scouts and every 4 years we take part in Chamboree, an exciting District camp.
There are also opportunities to go on other camps organised by the district which involve hikes like a back-to-basics camp and Blackfoot Hike.
We regularly take part in outdoor activities like canoeing and hiking either on meeting nights or at camps. We hope that the Scouts learn independence skills, how they fit into the world and how to treat others with respect.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
